    MD, MSc, FRCPC, DABOM Founder & Medical Director · Internal Medicine, Critical Care & Obesity Medicine

    Royal College–certified specialist in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. He has practised hospital-based internal medicine and adult critical care in Guelph for more than a decade, alongside obesity and lifestyle medicine.

    RN, MN Founder, Clinic Manager & Chief Nursing Officer

    Kozue co-founded the clinic and runs it. A registered nurse with a Master's in Nursing in geriatrics and Gerontological Nursing Certification from the Canadian Nurses Association, she brings more than 25 years at the bedside to how the clinic is built — and a particular commitment to the care of older adults.

  • Dr. David Casey

    Dr. David Casey

    MD, FRCPC General Internal Medicine

    A general internist who began his clinical career in the Division of Medicine at St Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto in 2016, where he cared for the hospital's first admitted COVID-19 patients. He spent six years as Education Director for University of Toronto residents rotating through internal medicine there, before joining Guelph General Hospital in 2026. His clinical interests are hypertension, medical obesity management, thrombosis, and the reduction of atherosclerotic and cardiovascular risk.
